Screen appears black when ski is powered on

Check to see if the screen is truly black or displays a small string of text such as “mounting” or “No file found”.

If the screen is truly black with no apparent power, but the ski otherwise appears to be working, this could indicate a problem with the screen itself. Contact Tetradapt support for more assistance.

If the screen is mostly black but displays unusual text, this usually indicates that the SD card containing the screen graphics has come loose or gotten corrupted. See Fixing a loose or disconnected SD card.
