Batteries die quickly or "rebound" significantly after a power cycle
The TetraSki contains dual battery packs wired in parallel for redundancy in case one pack has issues. If the batteries appear to be dying faster than normal, one of the batteries is likely powered down and the TetraSki is running off one pack.
A telltale sign of this is the battery percentage “rebounding” significantly after a reboot of the ski. If you’re seeing the battery percentage jump more than 8% after rebooting the ski, it is likely operating from only a single battery pack.
Follow instructions for Powering down batteries for seasonal storage, followed by Powering up batteries from long-term storage, making sure both batteries are powered on and lighting up GREEN ONLY when the buttons are pressed.
