TetraSki keeps beeping after power down
Main power light won't turn off
Very rarely, the main power control relay can get “stuck” in an on state, causing the main computer to power down but maintaining power to the actuators and other subsystems. This situation would be accompanied by an inability to charge the ski and should be addressed ASAP.
Most of the time, a quick bump or jostle of the ski is all that’s needed to disconnect the power. Elevate the ski into loading height and tap the bottom plate of the control box using your fist or a ski pole. Hit it hard enough to shake things inside, but not to damage or dent the plate. When the relay frees up, the main power indicator light on the side of the control box will switch off and the ski should accept a charge again.
If you are unable to get the relay to disengage or the problem repeats after every reboot, contact TetrAdapt for assistance. If you can reliably switch off the power (using force), you can continue using the ski until replacement parts arrive. If you are unable to get power off at all, power down the batteries and discontinue use of the TetraSki until replacement parts are provided.
