Loss of control/no control with BOTH joystick & sip-n-puff
This section describes a loss of control with BOTH joystick and sip-n-puff. For issues with sip-n-puff only, see Sip-n-puff not working properly.
This situation is usually caused by issues with the remote thumbstick sending a constant override signal to the TetraSki, usually due to physical damage to the thumbstick.
Power down the remote and check if the problem persists. If control is restored to the joystick/sip-n-puff input, see Remote control intermittent response/disconnection.
If control remains locked out with the remote off, but the remote is able to control the TetraSki when it is turned on, check that the joystick connector on the back of the control box is securely in place and hasn’t been broken or disconnected.
Cycle power on the TetraSki and check if the problem persists. If you are unable to power down the TetraSki, see TetraSki is completely frozen/unresponsive. If you are able to cycle power but still don’t have control, and the screen appears to be working correctly, contact Tetradapt support for assistance.
