TetraSki turning left/right on its own
Sometimes you may notice (or your skier will report) that the ski is ‘defaulting’ to a left or a right turn when the joystick is untouched and in a neutral position.
This behavior is caused by an obstruction in the sip-n-puff line combined with subsequent elevation changes ‘fooling’ the TetraSki into thinking a sip or puff is being inputted by the user, and it will continually turn in one direction until the pressure sensor is allowed to neutralize to atmospheric pressure.
This scenario is most common on chairlifts when the seat is fully reclined and pinching the sip-n-puff tubing, but can happen on-hill as well if the tubing freezes or the seat is reclined too far.
Make sure the tubing is free of obstructions and not being pinched and the problem should be fixed.
